In 1990 Himachal Heliski started Operations and have satisfied the most fastidious clients from all over the world primarily because the Ski Terrain and the quality of the snow is unbeleivable but due to the expensive nature of Heliskiing the mountains are accessible only to the super previlaged or the Hard Core Ski Touring Bums only .

To change these limitations Mr. John Sims is spearheading the Himalayan Ski Village project which is the Largest Tourism project in the country to develop access of a common skiier to these majestic mountains. Mr Alfred Ford is the Chairman of the $ 250 Million Himalayan Ski Village project which aspires to Integrate the Local Customs and Products with the Top end Recreational and Accommodation Facilities for the Guests which will start operations in 2007 .

The Managing Director of Himalayan Snowcats Mr. Himanshu Sharma has been working with Ecole Pre Fleuri Switzerland Himachal Heliski & Himalayan Ski Village in various capacities and is an experienced qualified Ski instructor who has been making various recipies of Masala Skiing. In Nov 1999 Powder Magazing wrote about skiing in this valley highlighting the ski school run by Mr Sharma and Time Magazing wrote in June 2005 about one such trip we conducted which was Yak Skiing .
